Andy began his musical life as a kid playing on the parlour piano, pump organ and harpsichord his keyboard enthusiast father had collected through his travels. Soon eclipsing his father’s own abilities at the piano, a number of crucial records came into Andy’s life very early on – Carol King’s Tapestry, Ben Folds Five Whatever and Ever Amen, Led Zeppelin’s Led Zep II, A Tribe Called Quest’s Low End Theory, Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On, Neil Young’s Harvest.
